Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i wasnt sure as where to put it!
Thing is i was a bit late with paying off my ebay fee's a couple months ago, but i did pay them off!
And today i have had a letter dated 21st May saying if i don't pay them £8 within 72 hours then they will commence legal procedings for it!
Now according to my ebay account i dont owe a penny, I have also not received any other letters from this company, though it says i have been previously contacted!
Anyone have any ideas what i can do?

I'd copy your latest statement showing the fees are paid and then tell them you don't acknowledge any debt to them.
I think you can find template letter type things on the DFW boards that can phrase it much better than I did there!!0 -

Hi,
I believe the £8 to be an Admin charge from the debt collecter. When my ebay fees were passed on to them I got it too. I paid ebay their fees and the debt collecter still tried to get me to pay the £8 to which I told them to politely F-OFF

No company will start legal proceedings for £8 (whether you owe it or not!), they are just trying to frighten you into paying it.
This is true,
I said to them that the £8 was not mine and that they had charged it because of a mis-communication with ebay. Told them that I wouldn't pay it and haven't heard nothing since.
