Hiya,
I am in the fortunate position of having made (or about to! fingers crossed) £3000 on myhouse sale freeing up about£300 a month i want to put into savings. have been having a look around and got a few ideas what to do with it but wondered if anyone had a good idea or where i would see the best rate of return. Would like to be bale to get at it if i need it but not to squander it all!!!

Are you tax payer? I am assuming you are.

Put the £3000 in an ISA, then first 2 months (making the total £3600).

Then open up a savings account to put the next £300's in.
