Mid August -EDIT MID JULY_-where to go-Exchange rate

Have got to go on holiday mid August,somewhere where we can take advantage maybe of the exchange rate (not the euro then),where can you suggest for 2 weeks,2 adults,somewhere peaceful,beaches.America, Cuba,Cape verde ?Don't want anywhere with a hurricane season. or where food poisening is rife.

    Depends if most of your holiday cost is in pounds (All inclusive) or the country currency of where you are going. What type of holiday do you prefer?

    Probably not all inclusive (Though I have done it in the past,but it would have to be a special hotel,and I don't particularly like large hotels) difficult aren't I .We usually like to eat out,away from the hotel,but I am open to suggestions.

    What's greece or gozo like for value?
    I remember seeing details that you could rent farmhouses very cheaply on gozo,and greece is featuring a lot in this years tripadviser awards?

    You tell me-but obviously if accommodation was very cheap,that would offset the cost.

    just triple checked and they do use the euro.

    would not say turkey is cheap any longer
    and no where in euro zone is
