HSBC up to no good

I have discovered that HSBC credit cards are adding interest on purchases in very small amounts from as little as 16p up-to £1.22 per month to credit card bills which when asked to they refund it claiming it is a computer problem which they are working on.
This has been happening since Feb 2008 and although not much cash, it is if you nick it from millions of card holders.

Who else has noticed this with their card account?

Michael

Did you take out payment protection insurance?

I've never spot such charge on my HSBC MasterCard statement which I check regularly and always pay it off in full.
