Ebay or Classified Sites

As a avid user of ebay, I've recently started to turn to popular classified sites such as http://www.adflyer.co.uk and http://www.adtrader.co.uk because of the frustration of the auction. Since using classified sites I've found selling locally much easier.

What do you guys think?

i have used freeads and adtrader to sell an iphone and an ipod in the last couple of weeks. i love having cash payment with no fees to pay!

i have also used classifieds to sell a computer. the last computer i sold on ebay was sent with a courier and got damaged. i could have put it on ebay collection only i suppose but would have limited the buyers and had huge ebay and paypal fees. i can't do that anymore either as you have to accept paypal on collection items shortly.

I’ve tried local classifieds but with only limited success. At the moment I have stuff listed on Ebid, Tazbar and Cqout and have recently started listing on http://www.ibootsale.co.uk/main/index.php the online car boot sale which is giving me plenty of sales, while its zilch on all the others.

It’s free to list and no fees, plus no problem about having to use paypal on goods for collection.
