I'm about to buy a Nokia 6630 but wondered if anyone knew of any known problems with it before I go and buy it?
I.e. does the handsfree function actually work properly and is the MP3 function handsfree or is a headset required?
Thanks,
CC

the mp3 function works with the handsfree headset you get with the phone. One of the best features of the phone is the voice commands to open applications.
Only major gripe is to do with the the memory, sometimes if you have too much stuff you have to remove the memory card to do things, even when the memory card isn't full.Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0 -

My 6630 only lasted 1 day on a full charge, i took it back and the same happened with the second one.
I took that back and got a SE S700i.0 -
my nokia 6630 lasts about 3-4 days. did you charge it for 16hours the first time?0
-
Yeah, i charged it for 24 hours on the dot, but even the second one, that had been charged properly in the Vodafone store and that did the same too.
I've had a 3210,3310,3330,3510,8310,7650,6600 then the 6630 i'd be happier with Nokia as the menu's are easier than most other makes.
The N70 or the N91 might draw me back to Nokia ;O)0 -
It's a reconditioned one from CPW and apparently it's just eh handset and charger, nothing else

You have to go through the network provider to get them unlocked (& pay through the nose) as there's no unlock codes for them yet, so be careful on that front.....What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0

CrazyChemist, I'm looking to get myself one of these. Do you think you could give me the link to the deal on the CPW website??
Thanks in advance..
