Ive had my account since August 04 and have had a person win a bid for 99p new ebayer zero feedback,
Ive opened the dispute she replied saying "oops wrong size sos"
So ive closed the dispute and want to leave feedback BUT cant leave neg, so what do i do??
Leave pos but with neg response so other ebayers know or leave it, i HATE this new feedback system
Thanks in advance.

Leave no feedback at all. Assuming you went down the full NPB route she will have a strike and with no feedback that strike makes her vulnerable to being suspended.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Excellent (without sounding mean lol)
Yep went with the NPB route thanks for your help.0 -
Don't forget as well to have satisfaction in the fact that with an NPB strike on her account she won't be able to bid on many sellers items for 30 days. The new settings allow selelrs to block bidders with a single strike in the past 30 days..so she's already there trying to buy and wondering why she can't!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. have just checked my settings and i can only block:
Buyers with Unpaid Item strikes
Block bidders and buyers who have received 2/3/4/5 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 1/6/12 month(s)
i did have it set to block buyers with 2 strikes in 1 month, but wondering whether to increase it to 2 in 6 or 12 months?0 -
I'm sure when I got a pop up yesterday saying I could update my seller preferences I was offered 1 strike in 30 days as a block..I'll go and check as I was in a rush and might have misread the changes.
I'll block anyone for the longest period of time with a strike that I am able to do as that is a sellers only protection now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Aplogies pinkgem, you are quite right, I must have completely misread the thing yesterday. The best I can do is:
Buyers with Unpaid Item strikes
Block bidders and buyers who have received 2345 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 1612 month(s)This requirement can help you avoid bidders and buyers with a history of not paying for the items they have agreed to purchase

i've changed mine from 2 strikes in 1 month (i'm sure that was all you could do before) to 2 strikes in 12 months.0

I know i am probably going to get shot down in flames, but, why not give the bidder time to pay before kicking them? Perhaps they were really a genuine newbie (just like we all were sometime!) and were actually going to complete their first acution and gain their first feedback??0

Typical of this forum
NOT ONE Person asked for ANY details before jumping in slating the buyer
a forum full of sellers out for themselves this is:rolleyes: (with a few honourable exceptions)0 -

In fairness, other than you, only 4 members of this forum posted, and that includes the OP.
Clearly the buyer was not going to pay and had bid in error (or stupidity)
'Wrong size sos' is pretty conclusive evidence for muppetry. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
