i'm all new to this, so apologises if this isn't the correct place to post this. However, i need help with rbs. below i'm going to paste my letter of complaint and really just looking for hints/tips to make it better and chances of success!

Credit card application reference: **********.
Royalties gold travel club flight reference: ******.
I am, unfortunately, writing this letter of complaint with regards my RBS credit card. My story is as follows: I applied for an RBS platinum credit card and was approved with a credit limit of £4,800. I phoned credit card services to check on the progress of my card as it had been a few weeks since application and I was worried as I planned to use the card to book flights and accommodation for an upcoming holiday. I was very pleased when the manager I spoke to said the card would be couriered to me. The card arrived as scheduled on 20th May 2008, or so I thought. What actually arrived was a Natwest platinum credit card with a credit limit of £6000. After numerous calls it emerged the cause was human error at several junctures. I was given many apologises and an RBS platinum card will be rushed to me on the 22nd May.
As a royalties gold account holder, I sourced flights for the upcoming holiday through the royalties gold travel club. I was quoted for my flights, with discount, £559.20. This was comprised of £300 taxes and £288 (-£28.8 in discount) for airfare. If the correct card had arrived on the 19th I would have booked the flights and paid the quoted fare. However, as of 2pm on the 21st May the quoted price for the same flights was £660, comprising of £300 taxes and £400 (-£40) for airfare, a difference of £100.80.
Whilst I can appreciate human error(s) occur, I do not feel I should have to accept a £100 loss due to this.
You may also notice that on the morning of 21st May quotes for accommodation were added to the flights reference number, this was because the hotel we had planned to book became unavailable as of late on the 20th May. This will also cause an increase in the total cost, however, as of this point I cannot put an exact figure on how much that will add.

sorry for the length, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
