New on here so sorry if this has been asked before.
I have £7500 on Barclaycard and have been offered Virgin card at £5000 limit at 0% for 15 months.
Can I transfer £5000 of my B/card over or does it have to be full amount? And if yes can I say which part. (Paying higher % on cash I withdrew)
Will Virgin know I still have £2000 elsewhere and does it matter.
Thanks for any help.

hi onwards. You can pay what you like off the barclycard. You can't say which 'part' - the highest rate part will still be there when you pay off 5k. It doesn't matter to virgin (MBNA) that you have the rest on your barclycard. WHy not ask virgin for a limit increase when you ring them to activate the card and do BT? I'm sure they'd rather have your debt than let barclycard make money off you.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 784 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0
