Relist items free if sold second time?

Hi I put a couple of items on ebay which didn't sell, i clicked the relist item on the e-mails that were sent to me and modified the details to help sell a bit better, I removed the buy it now option which i had put on first time round and lowered my reserve price. Both items them sold. Today I got my ebay invoice and i noticed that i have not been credited my listing fee for these items. I was under the impression that if you relisted an item and it sold second time round you would receive the listing fee credit?

If you make too many changes to the original listing then the relist credit is not given. It usually says that when you list, it either says 'if this item sells you may receive a relist credit' or it might say nothing in which case there were too many changes and no credit is given.

Also, the extras like reserve and BIN would never be given as a credit anyway, only the very basic listing fee is credited back on the second sale.

last week i relisted some items and changed from auction to buy it now, thinking that because the insertion fees were 10p for both that i would still get the credit, but i didnt so it looks like if you change format you dont get the relist credit.
