She was probably the cleaner, or maybe they had the decorators in!? ;) ]

    there's always that possibility!! :rotfl:

[wait for the statement to arrive and simply pay the minimum payment shown.

the whole point is that my statement has arrived and it shows my minimum payment is ONLY the bt fee, there's no mention of the £25 (which at least the cleaner told me to pay also). that's why i think it's misleading...if i didn't pay it i would lose my interest free period!

My friend was told exactly same thing. QOL and my friend have been misled by CSA people not knowing their product, i belive you and i bet QOL does as well but information coming out of CSA people lately is garbage, i myself have had to ring MINT 3 times now for a simple problem and on 2 occasions told different things...

we are not saying Y/B is'nt clear. we are saying them numpties up in chester are not clear. you have to be 100 correct in managing your account as the threat of taking away the 0% is too much a risk. and if groviling is not your thing then your stumped. if it was me i would take on board the info. BUT still over pay. after all it comes off the debt...

No the statement is not misleading in any way.
In order to keep your promotional offer of 0% you are required to pay the minimum payment by the due date.
The minimum payment and due date are printed on your statement.

Or we have lol.... well not yet for me yet... I,ve read the stories on here about Virgin/MBNA and they are not pretty, if CSA cannot sort your problem out and you dont know of this board and dont understand the way they work then your stumpted and at the mercy of them. so asking and pointing out things is not a bad thing. we are all not accountants/ and or percentage savvy type people, interest rate double dutch lingo are we!!!

    ok...let me explain this again.
in my initial acceptance phone call to virgin/mbna i was informed by the cs that my bt fee was £101.47 (which i understand and do not contend) she also told me to add £25 additional minimum payment so the 0% interest rate would apply for 15 months.

however, my statement has arrived and states my minimum payment is £101.47

if i just paid what was requested on my statement i would get the 0% interest rate taken away. luckily the nice cs had the decency to advise me otherwise...apparently it's not always the case.

    this is why it's misleading!!!

If you have funds in the Bank it would not matter what Min payemnt was would it? It could be
£300 and it would be collected right !!
