Misleading tarrifs?
Hello, it's my first post here - So hello to everybody! Been a subscriber to the email thingy for months, and often read the forums but now that I have a query it's time to sign up!
OK. O2 have just upgraded me to the O2 Talkalotmore Tarrif Plan thing as I'm topping up more than a certain amount each month. I was investigating the website today for tarrif information (in the hope I'd get cheaper calls/texts in addition to the 150 free minutes a month! - I don't).
However, it seems on their website that the costs per text message sent is 10p (even on my current (or old now I guess) tarrif). However, I've been paying 12p per text for months. Is this something I should be concerned about, and is O2 doing something wrong by showing a false price for the cost?

Any advice on what to do next would be highly appreciated. These mobile phone companies get so much of our money as it is, any savings are hugely welcome!
PS. Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I did search the obvious keywords just no relevant threads were returned!!!

I've been paying 12p for my texts from the day i got my tarrif, and really don't get me started on O2 and their upgrades. i think O2 really do try to get away with too much and they generally do because they give people the run around so you have problems addressing the issue, especially to the correct department. I don't like how O2 promise one thing but then when you finally find out the truth, several months later they have you hook, line, sinker, copy of angling times.
As a brief note i posted on the vent board about O2 screwing up my credit so i am in the process of destroying them as we speak lol.Hello Floor Make Me A Sandwich!0
