Tuxedo PrePaid Mstercard

HI!
Booked a holiday for october to Cyprus which will be my first holiday abroad for years - so excited.

I have a Tuxedo prepaid mastercard which i am saving money onto for ospending money (it is my only card option as I can't get a normal bank card because of credit problems).

The charges aren't too bad if I withdraw cash daily rather than use it willy nilly for every purchase and i prefer using that than taking cash or travellers cheques as it's safer.

My main question is - does anyone anyone else use one of these cards (especially abroad) and is it strightforward using atms abroad? (particularly Cyprus). Will the card be accepted OK in foreign atm?

Any advice or tales of your experiences would be very much appreciated.

If the card bears a symbol (i.e. Master Card/ Cirrus) that is shown on the foreign cash machine then you shouldn't encounter any problem regarding its acceptance.

You may want to shop around for a prepaid card which have lower fee for cash withdrawal and/or purchases abroad.
