Phil & Kirsty's Musings

Nowt better to do? wander in the direction of the C4 site for the '2008 House Price Prediction from Industry Expert Analysts’

Well worth a giggle is the 'Buying a House' feature with an everso green map of Blighty allowing one to 'Check areas to see if you're paying too much'.

Splendid stuff if you happen to discover the truly 'average' house in your area.

Gave it a whirl, randomly selected Merthyr Tydfil - the 5th worst place to live in the UK apparently. Phil & Kirsty unquestionably have an intimate knowledge of the Merthyr locals:

'A colossal 58% of the adult population are colossal - clinically obese. Which is a minor miracle given that over a third have only 21 teeth.’

On the positive side house prices have risen 15% _party_

This has to be a joke.Did it mention that krustys hips are now only 80% of the width of the average house?

Call it intuition but seems to me Welsh Wales doesn’t rate highly in the P&K Top Bottom 20.

The fastest climber this week, moving up the charts nine places in a bid to knock the criminal binge drinkers in the Middlesborough Ghetto from the top spot of god awful places to set up home is Blenau Gwent. The revealing ‘area guide’ tells me the uneducated locals top themselves with such regularity it’s severely limiting their chances of inbreeding with the toothless taffs down the valley in Merthyr.

Maybe it’s a cunning ruse to promote macabre tourism.

On the up side house prices are predicted to rise a whopping 56%. Now where’s that sheep… :grouphug:

Does anyone no take Krusty seriously anymore? With the downturn in her core business, apparently she has recently auditioned for another C4 show - Ugly Betty. IMHO, she's more than perfect for the role.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
