Earlier today I had an item pulled by ebay because I included postal orders as one of the methods of payment.
It is clearly states in accepted payments the following
Permitted on eBay.co.uk
Sellers may offer to accept:
I have other listings stating postal orders as a method of payment which have not been pulled ie 310045503329. Will be interested in your comments!

Does the email actually state that postal orders is the problem or is the generic 'not approved payment methods' email? There is nothing else going on is there, discounts for not using paypal or such like?
Although having said all that there does appear to be random problems at the moment with listings getting pulled for no obvious reasons.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. yes it clearly states postal orders as the reason, I don't offer discounts

Yes I quoted this policy in my original post, Stuart P so why does it breach their policy?
I have just had an ebay message from another purchaser of a similar item and it states she is sending a postal order. No problem with this one so whats going on?0 -

Looking at your auction I'm wondering if they saw the bit about not accepting paypal on items less than £25 and forgot to check that you had actually NOT ticked the 'I accept paypal ' box.
Under current rules of course you do not have to accept paypal and have quite corerectly not ticked the I accept paypal box bit..don't forget though that in a few weeks time you will have to list with that box ticked and will not be able to add any exclusions. Maybe they are just jumping the gun here?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The only other thing I've noticed, and it doesn't make any sense nor have I seen any announcements, is that postal orders is no longer an option under payment. When I list I used to be able to choose cheques as well as postal orders, suddenly the postal order option has disappeared and I have a completely different set of options including something or other 'on demand' (can't remember what it is called. Have they changed something and not told us and not updated their acceptable list?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sorry I promise I will stop posting in a minute but this has puzzled me. I did a google search and there is a thread on the ebay forum suggesting that postal orders are temporarily banned
