Both - I make ~30 sales a week and i'm small - if your not a powerseller shifting £thousands a week i'd say your small.Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0

It is whatever we decide to categorise ourselves as, theres no real definition, nor need to have one.
The only categories that ebay impose are business or private , business being anyone who buys things to sell on, private seller being anyone that just sells things they have in the house or unwanted clothes or such like.
I consider myself to have always been a small seller, even when I was a power seller I rarely sold more than about 125 items a month on average, and now I sell only a small proportion of that so I suppose I am a microscopic seller!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'd say a small e-Bay seller is someone who doesn't buy items to resell.
Anyone who does buy to resell, is a business, so isn't a small time seller, even if they only sell 10 items a week.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Not a powerseller.
Many now believe that ebay only wants powersellers...."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

In what context? There are some big companies selling on Ebay (eg Hewlett Packard). There's some statistic which is something like 1% of sellers have 60% of Ebay turnover (that's not accurate but from memory, can't find the details anymore) and 15% have 80%, so the rest would be small sellers.
VAT Registered sellers (unless registered below the threshold) turn over £67,000+ per annum. I'm in that category but would only class myself as a small business seller..0
