Ebay villa for week too good to be true?

What do you guys think of the villa for rent on this link? The seller has poor feedback.

I have no idea what a villa for a week is worth... but if it looks too good to be true...

    No thanks!

totally agree there. definately NOT worth taking the risk no matter how beautiful it may look. The more you think about it though if this was genuinely someones villa and they were looking at renting it out they would have pictures of the inside etc. and talk up the sell rather then a very brief discription

    Not worth the risk

They are offering a choice of week, this is against ebay policy so I have reported it. I busted a similar scam a few years ago when a seller was offering a choice of dates on a cottage in Wales. Most people wanted bank holiday and July August of course so I was suspicious when they were selling more weeks than there was in the summer! Even went to the cottage to see what was going on. Turned out it was the cleaners running the scam.

The very fact that you have no protection at all for your £500 is enough for me to look no further. Also as others have said this auction breaches ebay terms and conditions so when reported it is likely to be pulled anyway.

EDIT: The power of MSE strikes again 'This listing (320242698547) has been removed or is no longer available'

MSE, doing their bit to keep ebay safer!
