I had to work really hard to get a better deal from Vodafone. I first called and they said they could discount 30% off my line rental but the phone I wanted would be £100.
I called back later and asked for the PAC, they then offered me the phone for £15 but I would have to switch to a new deal (that had less minutes than the previous one).
I was just contemplating giving one last call before giving up on them when they called me and asked why I had requested the PAC, and what could they do to keep me as a customer. I managed to get the phone I wanted free, plus a bluetooth headset and keep my existing deal with but with 6 months half price line rental. Result!0 -
yes the upgrade people are a waste of space
Send them a written termination for the end of your 12 month contract and then wait for a phone call - basically any phone you want and a cheaper rate seems to be on offer even for £25 a month contractsTANSTAAFL !0
