How much are carpet fitters?

We are looking at buying our carpets and getting someone else to fit them. However, does anyone know how much this should cost?

LOUNGE/DINER: [23'7 x 11'10] (7.19m x 3.61m)
BEDROOM 1: [12' 9 x 10' 4] (3.89m x 3.15m)
BEDROOM 2: [9' 1 x 10' 0] (2.77m x 3.05m)
BEDROOM 3: [9'10x 7'8] (3 x 2.34)

and possibly stairs and landing (no sizes at the minute!)

We aren't sure if there is any underlay already fitted or whether we need to buy and get that fitted too.

Always invest heavily in good underlay. Its the basis of getting longevity out of your carpets.

The dimensions and No. of rooms are probably about 3/4 of a day for a fitter and his 'lad' so allow £!50 - £200 and you should get change. Underlay fitting as well so take it to the whole day soa llow a bit more.

Ive just been to carpetright and bought living room, hall, landing and bedrooms carpets for £300 all in.

There have loads of end roll all sizes and colours in store to take home, they can fit them but we did are own as i have a handy husband!!

Theres also up to 50% carpets, 20% on roll ends, might be worth you popping in!
