Are you sure these aren't "silent calls"? These are marketing/sales calls where the number is dialled by a computer. If there isn't a person ready to take the call, it hangs up. Quite common .....Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

You can register your mobile no. with the Telephone Preference Service and that will gradually weed the calls out ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

Have you tried ringing o2 and complaining to them about these calls???0

Its a real long shot, but have you recently given your number to kwik fit either at a garage or over the internet. A while ago this happened to me and i read in a newspaper somebody was getting crazy amounts of calls on their landline with BT who done a trace and found it was their automatic dialler.
Like it said it is a long shot and it may not be them im am just aware this happened a while ago.The best things in life are for FREE!!!If you like what you see and find this info useful, please use the thanks button. It costs nothing and means so much.0 -
Put your phone no voice mail, this will sort them d*******s out.
Contact the police and ask them to get intouch with your network, they will communicate with each and trace these calls if you note down the times, date of these hoaxers.
I am waiting for the police to contact me to see if they have found out who they are.
Even though they withhold their number, the calls can be traced. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

This happens with my landline phone ( im on BT ), they withheld there number and hang up after i picked up my phone. Sometimes the caller does not withheld there number and it comes up as "internat" when they ring me. Anyone got any advice on what i should do?Its better to close your mouth and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt...:p0
