Babybliss Airbrush Tanning Machine - IS IT ANY GOOD - Currently Half Price at Boots

All

I am tempted into buying the Babybliss Airbrush Tanning machine which is currently half price at boots.

I wonder if anyone on here has used this machine and is it very messy to operate.

I have read reviews that the machine itself is good but using the St. Tropez spray mist gives better results.

I am concerned that the airbrush will not only spray myself but the walls as well.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi

Have had no recommendations so has no one used this or any other spray tan machines

Is it a waste and one of those things you buy, use once and stick in the loft

    Thanks

    Hi

I've used it and it's rubbish! Tanning solution goes everywhere, colour is carp, streaky and smelly, takes an age to actually do it, the unit is really noisy, the solution leaks...you get the drift..

Try Xen Tan in either the dark lotion or mousse, not a spray but much much better product and colour.

St Tropez Spray is quite good too, the pump action one is a bit hard to get right and not look 'paint splattered' but the airbrush one is quite good, runs out quickly though.

I've also heard good things about Model Co airbrush tan..

Thanks for your advise, I'll give it a miss and stick to my St. Tropez bronzing cream which I find works great and if you mix it with body lotion it goes on quite even.

    Thanks again

We bought one on ebay last week! I thought it was fab! no complaints at all other than maybe the noise - but what do you expect from a compressor! I looked at Amazon reviews before buying and everyone loves it - they say to buy st tropez for refilling which gets an even better effect. My husband wants another go tonight actually - i have never tanned before or tried self tanning -this has ben my first experience of it.

I got one last year and love to use it. I am rubbish at putting fake tan on, and this is really easy, especially the hard to reach places like your back and you don't use as much tanning spray. I use the Loreal sublime self tan

I tried filling it up with St Tropez and just ended up with an even bigger mess, the St Tropez stuff must be too 'thick' to go through the tubes and ended up clogging every two minutes.. Definetely not for me but maybe if you could pick one up cheap you could try it for yourself :)
I might even have mines somewhere you can have it lol
  • I think the best tan i have tried is loreal sublime bronze airbrush effect - its a simple spray and i have never known it go streaky.

Avoid buying from boots/superdrug (priced around £12.99) i get it from wilkinsons for £7.99

read the reviews on Amazon - they are not good! I've read similar reviews around the net saying that the pipe often gets clogged.
