Lol, this isnt one of those "doh" threads, but it was all a bit of a shock. We were trying for a few months and then last month we had a try and then got wrapped up in the house selling and buying. We managed to exchange last week and now what they do say is true. New baby and new house. did the test today and it was confirmed in writing.
I must admit I am a little bit unsure what to do now. A week before Xmas I will become a dad, but to be honest i dont know if i like kids at all. i expected to hit about 40 before having a child but i am in my late twenties.
its exciting, but very nervewracking. worse thinfg is you cant tell anyone for another 9 weeks!

Congratulations, I'm sure you'll make a great father. It sounds like you're both in a good position for it xx:heartpuls

Congratulations! I know its scary, but its amazing. My advise, you can never read enough stuff about the pregnancy/birth, you fiancee will love you for it. That, and plenty of massages and offerings to cook dinner:)£2 Savers club £0/£150

Congratulations.
My fella never wanted kids and our first was a total shock, neither of us were sure how he would fit into the dad role as it didnt seem part of his personality. He had NO experience of babies in his family or life, he was the first of all his friends to have kids too.
All i can say is, you will love it, it will overshadow everything you think that is good in your life in the most tremendous way.
Be laid back, enjoy the pregnancy and read up to prepare yourself, your wonder why you didnt do it sooner.0 -
i have already made her a cup of tea.0
