Cracked Bath

My (plastic/acrylic) bath has a huge crack in it, about 8" long
I've seen something called Kit-Mastic Epoxy Repair Resin which claims to work on cracks. Has anyone used this before, and does it work? Replacing the bath is not really an option at the moment, we were planning to rip the whole bathroom out in about 18 months time and start again from scratch so that we can have it how we want it. Naturally I don't want to waste money on a new bath before that if I can help it, so I need something that will seal the crack until I can afford to do the bathroom.
Can anyone recommend anything else that might work?
TIA.

There's definately something that works! I rented a house where the bath appeared to have quite a hole in it when we moved in.
I filled it slightly but the level didn't go down and in 6 months of living there, there was no evidence of any leakage at all. The stuff it was fixed with did look like some kind of resin.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Kit-Mastic Epoxy Repair Resin
Just noticed I've a hair line crack in my (plastic/acrylic) bath, as katiepops mentions there is the above product. Before I call the plumber & replace the bath also save money does any one know if this works? the crack is in an akward postion underneath as the crack is above the chip board therefore is not possiable to locate underneath...........or has any one got any other ideas I could use i.e I've heard of some sparys? from a non - DIY gal0 -
