6680 on orange WARNING
Just had a free upgrade on orange to a 6680 from 7610 (so I am familiar with the symbian os) and WHAT THE have orange done to the phone- they have put this ridiculous menu on the head page which you cannot get round. It no longer says 1 missed call, or 1 new messgae, you just get little number counters along this stupid menu. Anyway, I want out but I need to decide which way to jump. My current deal (keep with me on this) is line 1 OVP T-mobile daytime max 3000 mins, my line 2 is everyday 50. total line rental 43 plus vat. It's great as I can stay on the phone as long as I want and I cannot physically use all of the minutes, but it pisses me off that I am handing orange 700 quid + a year and they cannot even give me a normal phone. What do I do? I am tempted to port both my line 1 and 2 to three and have a 500 min 100 text 120 quid per year OSPS deal, and at the end of year 1 i have two phones to put on ebay, keep 1 in the glovebox in the car, and use the other as my normal phone. Advice please guys?????

I'd recommend switching to 3, I've had no problems using my 6680 on the 3 network and it's much better value for money then the Orange deal you have. Get your PAC from Orange and order the refurbished handset from OSPS with 7 months free. You can port your number after receiving your new phone.0

Ive jumped ship to 3, i had 3 contracts to make up the mins i use and was paying 60-70 a month:eek: and sometimes went over calling family back to save them, then looked into the 3 talk and text 500 mins and 100 texts and thought worse case i can keep in house where i make most calls and keep my £15 100 mins 50 texts voda as my main number if 3 are bad but to be honest i have been surprised at how good things seem to look - reception is great yes ive dropped a few bars but no calls, i even get reception in places that orange doesnt and finding them on a par with vodafone in my area, also i asked before i got about delivery reciepts and no one could confirm but they do have delivery reciepts - so 3 and my 6680 have everything i want from a mobile and the cost after cashback works out to be £17 a month:DThe more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
