Travel insurance - trips to stay with family in the UK

Hi
I am looking for a family annual insurance policy which will also cover us when we travel to stay with family or friends in the UK or to travel worldwide. many of the policies will only cover you in the UK with prebooked accomodation for at least 2 nights. We travelled home at christmas and our baggage was lost for 6 days - the cover the airline offered was minimal and I would have wanted to be able to claim for delayed luggage via our travel insurance policy.
Can anyone recommend a policy which covers staying with family in the UK? I have looked around and so far have not found one. Our old policy has expired and we are about to book our summer holiday so need some cover!
