operation timed out!!!!!!!!!!

hiya,
worried coz i keep getting this message when i am trying to connect to mse. operation timed out when connecting to msexpert.
using firefox
wot does this mean and why is it happening ,?

never happened before
have managed to get connect with IE but still quite slow

Well you are not the only one who has been having trouble. I have had trouble as well with the website. It could be that the bandwidth qota has all been used up or they might be upgrading the website. It could also be DDoS on the website.

Or it could just be a fault so there is nothing to worry about.

I've just dumped the auto-reload extension because I wondered if it was that causing the problem. Didn't make any difference so I'll go and get it back again shortly.

The site still doesn't seem to be quite up to par yet - but certainly better than it was earlier.

I have been monitoring and it seems it did this yesterday evening at around the same time as well as today afternoon and now. Do not know what it is yet.
