Mysterious Rashes

I have had enough this holidays already, had nits at the weekend >:( then yesterday little miss divadee came out in a strange rash.
So off down the gp today, he doesnt know what it is either :-/ it could be a number of things so he has taken piccys of it on his digi cam, given her eurex hc cream and told us to come back in a week.
He says it aint contagious and its either exama (which i very much doubt) or some viral infection with a huge long name beginning with m that causes this type of rash.
I am just worried about taking her out as i would not want to give it to anyone whos immune system is weak or a baby or pregnant lady :-/

Poor LMD
Is she allergic to anything? Has she eaten anything new or been messing about with make up? New bubble bath, shampoo or shower gel?
Just a thought. My big'un woke up with a rashy face and her eye was all swollen last week. She's had the same reaction from sun cream before but I think this time it was because she was putting that cheap, kids make-up on.
If it's an allergy then an anti-histamine syrup can help.
HTH :-*Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
No poochy definately not an allergy, i have wracked my brains and we have nothing new in the house whatsoever.
I know its not make up as i dont let her use it as she has had a reaction to it in the past. Their skins are fair to young to cope with make up and that stuff, i despise kids make up now. >:(0 -
Mine had put it on at her friends house >:( I've told her not to but she said she'd forgotten :-/
Hope you find the cause soonJust run, run and keep on running!0 -
im glad its not just me then, sometimes i feel a bit mean not letting her put make up on, but 6 is to young to me.
Sometimes i feel that i am the only parent that feels like that. I let her have her face painted but not proper make up, some of her friends look awful at parties when they mascara and blusher and bright red lippy on its just not right0 -
Oops, sorry should not be in here. I misread the title as 'Mysterious Rashers' and thought the thread was about bacon. Sorry ... carry on ...

Have you got any pets??
Do you think they may have fleas and she has had a reaction to a bite??
Have you tried her on some antihistamine (wrong spelling) tablets, if it's a bite or a reation to something it may help clear it up.
Other than that i can't help sorry :-/0 -
defo not fleas first thing i checked for being a seasoned cat owner.
The dr says it is not a reaction to anything he was leaning towards this viral thing that is to long for me to rememberthe cream really helps the itching but the rash is still there.

Hi
My little lad had something similar a few weeks ago, but was more noticable on the cheeks, red and strange rash ??? , took him to see the nurse at surgery and she said it looked like slapped cheek(I swear i hadn't touched him) lol, anyway what they eventually decided on was a viral infection that would clear up on its own :-X ???, It did but took a week though. Love to LMD :-*
