surface water charges - another way to save

I save £40 per year because no surface water falling on my property goes down a public drain or down the sewers. I live in Wales - don't know if a similar saving is available in other areas.
You have to apply for this saving on a special form, otherwise you don't get it.
Properties in rural areas where all rain water ends up in a stream or river are likely to be the ones to benefit.
