there's a 3month free trial with tesco and codes for old users (after your free trial runs out) to get further trails free....there's no reason for anyone to pay for this. Search this forum, loads of offers posted elsewhere

I joined Lovefilm not using an particular free trial thing, and have tried to cancel for the last 3 months - the last 2 months the girl at the call centre which is not in the UK refused point blank to cancel because I hadn't given them 5 days notice prior to my payment date. I diarised this, and at the end of Feb called to cancel. After about 10 mins of arguing with the girl, she reluctantly agreed to cancel my membership but god it was a struggle!

One other thing I noticed, and this may just have been my stupidity in the way I signed up, was that the money is taken direct from my card rather than my bank acount as a DD or SO, thereby I couldn't cancel the membership at the bank.

Just a word of warning!
