Half-price Nouvelle Toilet Rolls (12 pack)

A bargain on one of life's essentials: Somerfield currently have a half-price offer on the 12 pack of Nouvelle Toilet Rolls (white), reduced from £4.90 to £2.45. - that's about 20p per 225 sheet roll (or 9.1p per 100 sheets). This tolilet roll is made made of 100% recycled paper but are as good as any standard make. Somerfield seem to have this promotion every couple of months for two weeks at a time so it is worth looking out for. Get some quick though as they only have limited stock and the promotion only lasts this time until 26 Feb. There is no set limit on how many you can buy but I note that Somerfield say that the store management reserve the right to limit the number of items purchased on any occasion, it will probably depend on how much stock they have left.

Sorry but already posted and consensus was that if there is a Home Bargains near you, Nouvelle are even cheaper and price is standard. i.e. 12 for £1.99 if I remember correctly.

Tried them recently - awful! You used about 4 times as much as you do with ordinary toilet rolls.

Apologies -didn't know that this had been posted/discussed before. Couldn't find anything when I did a thorough search of the forums, must be down to 'operator error!) Thanks to 'dc' for the tip-off re Home Bargains, I'd never heard of them before so will check out and see if there is a branch near me.

Nouvelle may not be to everyone's taste but I buy as they are the best recycled loo rolls I've found so far that aren't too expensive.
