Well said Anewman! Ignorance is just not on for the sake of other road users and more importantly, the poor souls who have to travel in that vehicle. What if the cam belt went when in the fast lane of a motorway? Got children to get off the hard shoulder etc. Loads of nasty scenarios..........
Want to see the state of some of the vehicles we get in, people who are trying to 'save' money by lack of servicing. False economy.Genie

I get a service every six months - major every 12 and a smnall service six months later.
Why would anyone do any different
Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

Only reason I can think is if you have a banger worth £0, you've given up on it and are waiting for it to go bang so you have an excuse to scrap it and get another car.0

No " fast " lane on any motorway, only overtaking lanes.;)0 -

I do. I do it all myself, on mileage intervals alone.0 -
hmm can't seem to find my reply hey ho ill do it again!
I was saying that i do have it serviced but not properly as such, what i mean by that is i know the local Fiat garage owner and they do it for me when i take the car down (when i have time) I also have one of my parents dads look over it as he is a mechanic ..being a childminder and carrying his kids round i'm sure he would say if i thought i was going to injure them in any way!
As for losing the key, i had an accident 6 weeks after we bought it, it has had full locks put on which only require one key..my other half has one and we have a spare so not too worried about losing 3 keys tbh.
It is in very good condition, no marks on the paint work, cleaned inside once a fortnight, £just got to 50K... i was funnily enough offered £2500 for it a few weeks ago by the previous dad who has just bought one and the Fiat garage said they will buy it or P/X..as we are looking to sell and lease but not yet so i'm hanging onto it..but have no worries of getting shot! there is always Ebay lol
good luck with what you get..i think they are lovely cars!0 -
fords are always reliable.
i sat in a M reg punto and did not feel comfortable, even when driving it. It felt small and choky.
