Taking food abroad?

I have searched all day on google but can't find an exact answer to this.

I am going to visit a friend in Copenhagen tomorrow and he has asked me to see if I can bring (of all things) a haggis! :rotfl: As he has heard all about it but never been able to give it a try.

Would I be allowed to take one with me?

Thanks in advance....

Yes, you can take it with you. I live in Norway at the moment and bring back food from the UK all the time :)

the EU and the USA have very different rules and regulations. to enter the USA, you are not allowed to take any meat of any sort through customs..
  • Thanks for the tips, I'll stop somewhere on the way to the airport and get one for him!
