Wanted! Cheapest printer and cartridges - Any Suggestions

I need a cheap printer. I'm not bothered what make it is. It's highly likely I will only be printing using black ink, but a strong must is that the cartridges must be cheap - say £2-£3 a time.

It doesn't matter whether it is a printer or multi-purpose printer, e.g scanner, etc... but the same thing applies to cheap cartridges. I don't need anything fancy for photos, etc... just basics.

I have a student card if that helps.

Well i have recently used www.discexpress.co.uk and they were absolutely brlliant.

Not sure if all their prices are as good, but certainly the ink sets I needed (EPSON PRINTER) were BOGOF, literally a quarter of high street prices, and arrived within 48hours.

So personally I wouldnt hesitate in using them again.
