Apart from buy decent bread, cheese, eat good food ..............................
I agree though - Calais is pretty dire, but then, would you want to spend a day in Dover? - you only need to drive inland a few miles to get into France. I can recommend Guines - used to eat regularly at Le Lion D'Or.0
