    Not very much in Calais any more though, if you're after cheap ciggies you need to drive upto Adenkerke on the Belgian border.

    If I ever wanted to slit my wrists, the Port of Calais would be where I'd do it............it's the end of the world there :eek:

    I agree though - Calais is pretty dire, but then, would you want to spend a day in Dover? - you only need to drive inland a few miles to get into France. I can recommend Guines - used to eat regularly at Le Lion D'Or.
