paying off debt cccsv loan

Hi, I hope i am putting this on the correct thread.
3 years ago due to loss of income my husband and i ended up having our debt sorted out by CCCS.
We never missed a payment to our creditors but for a couple of months we had to offer them a smaller amount. We never had any court action taken either.
For 14 months now we have been a lot better off and we have increased the payments twice.
In all honesty we could take the creditors back on again but then they would all add interest on and not all of them have been that supportive.
My husband has been talking of buying an house now to rent out until we stop moving around and a brooker has looked into it and says we can get a mortgage.
I don't really want to get the debt tied into a mortgage as we could clear the debt in 5 yeras or less if we got a loan.
They are 10 creditors and it is around £15000.
Hope i haven't confused anyone too much.
Please advice.
THANX

Hi pink diamond
You will get some good advice on this board about the situation with regards to the CCCS.
For the mortgage situation - it might be worth posting on the mortgage board to see what they advise. The question that popped into my head was whether you used a whole of market financial advisor. There are lots of mortgages out there - obviously the deals might not be as good but there are lots of choices."Stay Wonky":D

Hi, Thanks for the reply keren29.
We conatcted a company that sort out all sorts to do with buying property for the armed forces and they used their brooker but i don't know who they were.
A credit search wasn't run on us they just looked at our details and told us what they thought we could afford.
Hope this helps.

HI
I would just stick with the CCCS - you can do this and still have a mortgage - why not ring them for a chat about it all?CCCS DMP:Feb 07
