hi

does anyone know how to make feedback private for one item, as i intend to purchase something for my partner and dont want her to find out before hand

    I don't think you can, you might need to open a second ebay account.All you need is another email address.

    Only the seller can set the listing to private, and that has to be done at the time of creating the listing.

    I would contact the seller, and ask them not to leave any feedback for the item if you win it, and explain why. Most sellers would be understanding enough on that.
