Solicitor selling house, might be homeless

Afternoon everyone,

I've copied this post from another thread to here on behalf of another member, as I'm hoping that someone here might be able to help her. :)
i have been following this thread for a while now and posted my best wishes to mot and the twins and i still hope goes great for them but i now find myself in a simular postion and would like son help and advice ive posted it on this thread as i just dont know where else to post and to be honest my head at the min is not on this planet i will give you all a bit of background etc

my son was involved in a seriouse accident 20 years ago when he was 5 he was left phycically and mentley disabled so i looked after him did all his care needs etc and went for compensation as the person who knocked my son down had no licence or insurance

i spent 15 years fighting through the courts etc as well as looking after my disabled son plus his 5 brothers and sisters as well as coping with my own mobility problems anyway 5 years ago i won my sons comp case for him but put it all in the court of protection etc so nothing could be said that we had spent his money etc and i thought this was only right as my sons dad who was my husband and i had diveorced some years before

i now have a new partner who me and my children went to live with 7 years ago hes a wonderfull man i was getting physical abuse etc from my ex husband etc so my new fella moved us in to his home we spent 3 wonderfull years living in his home then was asked if we would usesome of my sons compensation to buy a house to fill disabled sons needs and make things easier for me to care for him and give us all a better life

now after 12 months of looking into this asking questions etc i was told dont worry etc your safe there wont be any probs etc so we thought well he is our son its not as though its a stranger or not even family

now due to my son having head injurys etc he has mood swings and in october he upped and went to stay at his sisters i had spent 9 hrs searching for my son before i new that my mother and farther come 20 miles had picked my son up etc the 5 days later i heard that he and his sister had been to so the reciver who i appointed to deal with sons money and they had been given money for a rented property plus money to buy furniture etc and had moved into a house within 5 days nobody had seen if the property was sutible for my son which in my opinion it isant theres too many dangers

anyway ive woke up this morning and recived a letter from his solicitor saying shes sending the valuers in and putting this house we live in on the market so me my partner and my 2 sons still at home have nowhere to go we wont even have furniture as when we moved we moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 5 bedroom they put all new furniture in etc as i see it it was bought with sons money so i think it will go to him im sorry if im rambling but i just dont know what to do were to turn i feel like i gave my life up to care for my son and now that ive helped get him to be able to live a little of a normal life im kicked in the face and i cant even discuss or tell me my new fella till tomoz as hes greiving today for his mother

so ive turned to you good people just for some pointers

angie
