Hello,

Can anyone help me? Sorry of this has been posted in the worng place.

I am currently splitting up with my partner and we ahve a mortgage together. i am goi9ng to move out while he carries on with the mortgage, is there a way i can get my money on the house soon?

only if he buys you out and you're taken off the mortgage, or it's sold and you split the proceeds after all associated costs have been paid. Sorry to hear you're splitting, messy business.... good luck!

keep in mind you are still liable for costs on this mortgage as long as your name is on it, so make sure he does actually pay the mortgage!

Have you agreed a split? 50:50 etc?? I've assumed you have built up equity in the house, otherwise this gets complicated!
