Really sorry if it's it's not allowed (I'm sure someone will flame me if it's not) but I would appeal people to consider a small donation to a charity such as this one that looks after abandoned greyhounds.

Sorry if I've offended anyone but I hope not.

  • Don't know much about this but have heard it's a good night.

Does anyone know if children are allowed, or is it adults only?

children are definitely allowed to my local one (Portsmouth). It is a manky stadium, but kids love seeing the dogs and getting into the spirit of it.

I have just printed my voucher off & was checking the 'Terms & Conditions' to make sure I could use it at Harlow dogs on saturday night, but they are the wrong Terms & Conditions(there for a Rugby comp)!!!!

Has anyone got the skysports magazine,if so could they check to see if they are in there.

    Thanks

Its Portsmouth what isn't manky......football stadium, greyhounds...Cosham High St....

We have had some very good nights out there though at Pompey Dogs but remember this voucher is for January only so just one week left.
  • Thanks both..my son has a friend staying this weekend so this could be saturday night sorted...I'll wait to see if anything comes to light about the T&C's

"The dogs" is deffo a good night out! I personally wouldn't take my kids (in the unfortunate event that I had any of my own!) there on a Saturday night though.

In terms of supporting retired dogs, check out The Retired Greyhounds Trust - http://www.retiredgreyhounds.co.uk - They're a nationwide charitiy, as opposed to West Midlands based.

They are a VERY worthy charity. I rarely donate to charities (the main exception being a charity that an ex work-collegue of mine runs by himself) , as I don't feel it is right to do so when their "employees" are so well paid, though the Retried Greyhounds Trust is one that I donate to everytime I visit "the dogs".
