letter from OR

I had a letter today from the ISS saying "my file will shortly be transferred to the regional trustee and liquidator unit for this office". "The RTLU will deal with any remaining assets in your estate and payments that may be made to your creditors". Does this mean they have almost finished with me?. I have no assets but do have an IPA due to start anytime now. Cheers Dalip.

Hi Dalip,
They generally transfer files to the RTLU when there is a house or other assets involved. Are you sure you didn't include a £1 Premium Bond? That would be enough to get your file transferred.
Or it could be that they've transferred it because of your impending IPA, and prior to transfer to a trustee. Either way it seems like a step in the right direction.

My god that was quick!!!!!.I am just waiting for these clarke people to write to me so i can set up a d/d for the IPA. I had letter about it in dec from the OR but so far heard nothing and it is supposed to start on the 29th of this month, but from reading other threads on this topic it can sometimes take a while. Thanks for the PROMPT reply.DalipFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

No i did not even include a 50p premium bond. Hubby does not even have a car. The daughter does but there are absolutely no assets at all. I searched the house high and low for something to sell before i went b/c but only came up with a broken sun bed!!!!!!!!!!!!Did not list that as an asset either.lolDalipFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Cases can get transferred to RTLU on the strength of an IPA or Nil tax Code. As it is money to be collected to go towards the individual bankruptcy estate, they are classed as assets.0

Thanks for that.OR did say he was not going to collect tax (only £49 p/m)but had letter from IR sat to say they had written to my employer to apply the NTC. I have an IPA so that must be it.
