I am tired of this

Thankfully this last month I have managed to save a few quid.
Because today DH has not been paid, that means I can not pay any bills mortgage or council tax. Basically when DH changed his bank details for his salary he gave the payroll dep the wrong details. This has totally mucked up my day, I am on a very intense college course and I have had to leave college missing classes to try and sort this mess out, the bank have be fairly unhelpful, but worst off has been DH pay roll dep who totally do not give a toss, they have just said that they will not give us any money and we have to wait for the money to be returned from the bank, no idea of time scale.
I was foresighted enough to have the morgage set up on manual payment since dec just in case something went wrong.... I do however have some dd due out now and enough in the bank to cover them, but basically I am SO peed off I am not sure if I am going to have enough in time to pay the mortgage, I will somehow work something out (sell a kidney maybe) why does it ALWAYS happen to me? I still have to find food and travel money and Im just so very very tired of everything right now.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

Can you speak to OH's payroll again tomorrow, when they've had chance to speak to their bank again? Maybe if they can accept that OH made a mistake, they will give you an advance to cover your bills...they will get it back when the moeny comes back.

Can you contact the mortgage company, explain the situation and ask if they will accept a late payment this month?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Ring your bank and ask for a temporary overdraft.

This happens often in the job I do with employees wages. The company operate wage advances or write cheques, which can be cashed at the bank. I am sure there is some sort of redress in this case. Ask them if they are going to pay for the extra charges you are going to face from the bank. They need to help, the money is yours!!

Yes indeed I have just checked entitled too to see if I would be better off as a single mum and of course I would be!!!!! I guess we all make mistakes but what worries me is the fact that I always have to handle the money and making something our of nothing has always been down to the cc.. But now we dont have that to fall back on, I am glad tho that we do get tax credist so even if its not enough its something
