Cheaper calls to 0871 Numbers.

As some suppliers are able to allocate you a personal 0871 number which translates into your mobile no and enables you to call your mobile for 10p a min at all times.(No need for this at the mo i know with the 4/5p rates).

I thought i would see if the https://www.abroadcom.co.uk allowed you to call 0871 numbers for 5p,and it does.You do of course need to enter the 0871 no in Intl Format.This could be a mistake on there part i dont know.

It does not work from the Dialwise 4p mobile no .

So register an 0871 number and the call to yourself costs 0.5p/min.

What would be funny if were the price to call the 0871 number to drop to 4p or below. Then you could leave the phone connected and profit at a rate of 30p/hour.

I suggested this rather too subtly the other day (take a leap of imagination I said), and earlier this afternoon on a disappeared post.

There is some variation during the day; it seems to work differently peak and off-peak, as I also mentioned, which is unexpected

Yes apart from the revenue making idea.There is another fairly obvious money saving International Phone Calls use i can think of.
