Lodger problem

Hi, I have someone lodging who I have just cause to believe has a county court summons issued. Since he now lodges here, will that cause me a problem financially? I've just given him notice to quit by the way.

My understanding is as long as you have not been linked financially ie. a joint loan or credit card they are no longer allowed to link your credit files just because you are at the same address. Might be worth checking your credit file just to check. Sure someone more experienced than me will be along soon.
    Good luck

I am fairly sure this is right, though would second advice that you check your credit files.
  • Alibobsy is spot on. As long as you're not financially linked this will not affect your credit file in the slightest.
