Hey, thank you ... Is great to be here and thanks for the words of encouragement .... I'm really focused now, so here's to a great 2008

Am starting to get the hang of how this forum works now I think ... Am guessing that an NSD is a 'None Spending Day' ?
I've spent nothing since Monday, but have just been stung for £28 by the lottery syndicate today as I'm in arrears  ... will withdraw £30 today and use the remaining £2 to buy a birthday card and some bread rolls ... then I won't have to spend anything else until the weekend
I've seen some ideas on here, so here are my goals:
M&S Card = Owe £434 - Clear by April 2008
Tesco Card = Owe £648 - Clear using my bonus by end Jan
RBS Card = Owe £2000 - Clear by Dec 2008
Move in to a smaller place in Aug 2008 when my rental contract runs out - re-coup £150 per month
Loan = £7000 - Save double payments as from Jan 2009 - currently due to finish Jan 2011 - want to halve that time period
Save £50 per month towards holiday budget - Break the cycle of paying for holidays on credit cards - Want to travel to Italy, New Zealand and Australia this year
Save £50 per month for clothes/ haircuts etc - I'm a 'bullimic' shopper - will help me to not feel like I'm missing out and to stick within my means
Save £50 per month towards household bills and insurances (so I don't have to rely on credit cards and overdrafts when the big bills come in) - hoping to break the debt cycle
Have very little disposable income at the moment and my overspending leaves me constantly squeezed .... Once I've settled in to this plan, then I'll aim to overpay on my mortgage .... Also looking for a new job at the moment so hoping for a payrise :j
