The numbers of negatives does not always match that it's a bad company you have to read the reviews.

Looking at some of those 1 start reviews does have to ask the question of are the customers entitled
    to what they want?

One 1* he wanted to suspend the contract. Is that allowed within the contract?

1* no WIFI 6 and they have been waiting 7 days for it to work? Sounds like they need to enable the WIFI
or use the correct network and password.

1* for something that arranged broadband for a property they did not have access to.

Customer service comments though do seem to crop up a lot where their staff are not professional
and gave bad information or poor advice.

They're averages over all reviews (over 5,000 for Rise, 89,000 for Talktalk), if you only choose companies based on negative reviews you'll never sign up for anything.

"if you only choose companies based on negative reviews you'll never sign up for anything."

On the other hand, if you read all reviews, good and bad, and THEN decide to go with the one that has more good than bad and has most of the features you need/want, you'd at least know you tried if it all goes pear-shaped.

I have an aversion to kicking myself for not doing something I know I should.

TalkTalk provided my TV and broadband services. They told me they were transferring my account to Rise. But I have discovered that this is only the broadband! TalkTalk have stopped supporting my TV service and not transferred it to anyone else and did not tell me they were going to do so. I can not contact either company as TT do not recognise me as a customer anymore and Rise have not yet given me a login. My settop box and remote control are not functioning as they should but I can not get help with that. I am now paying as much as I was per month but for only half the supported services.

I am shocked about this treatment. But anyway, I would still like to have TV services (with a box, etc.) so what should I do? Keep my broadband with Rise and get TV provided by someone else? Or cancel with Rise and look for the best TV + broadband offer?
