As a TT customer I don't believe I'm part of this traunch, however, I'm in the process of renewing my contract. Is it a sound idea to go ahead or should I look elsewhere?

You should be basing your next move (or no move) based on price, reliability and your needs. I doubt moving to Rise will make much difference.

I'm minded to stay put. Currently on Fibre 150 with the Eero router and all running smoothly. I've been offered, what appears, to be a decent deal (based on comparison sites) for the same package. Just deciding whether to move up to their 500 option just to futureproof my installation.

I'm with TalkTalk and just heard about this yesterday. Apparently Opus was in the offing and looked at the negative reviews [I always go by worst reviews, even if sometimes I have to choose the least worst haha.

That's 4.6 for Rise (over 5,000 reviews) versus a meagre 2.2 for Talktalk (89,000)… Opus have 4.5.
