To make it clearer should read Chase Saver Accounts, as the round up savings account doesn't count towards the £1k

Let MSE have their moment 😂😂

Beware of the sting in the tail of the new Chase Credit Card. Absurdly, you can't set up a Direct Debit with another bank to repay it. 🙄
In common with many people, I always have 'Pay Whole Bill' DDs, knowing that the DD will take care of everything. That gives peace of mind and could turn out to be be very important, e.g. if you’re taking a long holiday or in hospital.
Chase should have sorted this out before launching their new product. It's just half baked,

It's not "half baked", it's a direct strategy to get its own accounts used more, over a competitor.
Like you, I would prefer to pay my DD from my main account elsewhere, and hope that they do allow that soon. Closest they have so far is a one-off payment from another bank tab (basically payee details), so I schedule that from my main account instead. This month was the first and worked fine. PITA, yes, but a work around I can live with for now.

@wiseonesomeofthetime I was giving Chase the benefit of the doubt !
I thought they were great when they launched their debit card with 1% cashback on almost everything. The app was (and is) brilliant, especially for security and customer service. (For example, if they phone you back you prove your identity by logging in to the app. It knows they are phoning you so you just confirm you're speaking to them and that's that. Other banks haven't a clue, expecting you to give your details to any scammer that claims to be calling from that bank.)
But sadly Chase turned out to be just Bait & Switch. They dramatically reduced the qualifying purchases so I stopped using my card.
I've obtained the Chase credit card and I'll use it to get the 2% cashback because the qualifying purchases aren't so restricted. It's irritating that they don't offer DDs to repay the credit card and don't make this clear.
But I fully expect they'll repeat their Bait & Switch trick in a couple of years; they'll get dumped again, but until then I'll make hay while the sun shines.
Shame that the good guys weren't all that they seemed...

I've had a Chase account for a few years, and usually put £1500 across then remove it to get the cash back, however, now that they are expecting £1000 to be deposited in a relatively low rate savings account, I shall be closing my account at the end of this month. Shame really as its a good app.
