If it is in all 3 names you don't 'need' to update the register as the death is factual and can be proven as and when the property is next dealt with for example. The TIC aspect you refer to is protected by a form A restriction normally but we don't register the % shares. If they change that's a private matter so again nothing to update.
However you can update the register if you wish to. Some choose to simply for clarity and as they are sorting out the family affairs etc HMLR Guide: Start - External · HM Land Registry
