I'd assume your Doctor would be able to surmise if you are safe to fly or not with a verbal statement that should be recorded on your notes?

Personally I'm not sure I'd fly with DVT, legs often swell flying and this would likelyplay on my mind, but your Doctor should also be be able to advise on any risk reduction measures you can put in place if you are able to fly

Hi, we use a company called insurancewith.com who specialise in medical conditions travel insurance. No idea if they will include DVT, but for my husband's various issues, the screening asks very sensible questions, and the cost of cover was actually really very reasonable. They were on a list to try we were given at our local hospital.

You could try a specialist medical comparison site such as

    https://www.medicaltravelcompared.co.uk/

The medical screening should ask the right questions for the insurers to decide if they will offer cover.
