Make Me A Winner Win £770,000 Tax-Free Cash Terms and Conditions  

These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Media Group: Competition General Terms & Conditions at:  https://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/competition-general-terms-and-conditions  (the “General Terms”).  

Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.  

ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME  

Make Me A Winner Win £770,000 tax-free cash running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).  

ITEM 2: PROMOTER  

Bauer Radio Limited, registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”)  

This is a Bauer Media Audio UK Network Competition, running with makemeawinner.co.uk and hellorayo.co.uk. The Competition will be promoted on those websites and on other channels including but not limited to radio stations, SMS, social media, apps, email newsletters and magazines.  

ITEM 3: WEBSITE  

The website shall be www.makemeawinner.co.uk (the “Website”)  

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS  

Entry to the Competition will open and close as follows:  

Competition Start Date: Friday 3 April 2026 at 17:10pm; 

Competition End Date: Friday 17 April 2026 at 17:00pm; 

Online & Postal Entry Start Date: Friday 3 April 2026 at 17:10pm; 

SMS & Phone Entry Start Date: Friday 10 April 2026 at 17:10pm; 

Postal Entries Must Be Received By: Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 17:00pm;

Online, SMS & Phone Entry End Date: Friday 17 April 2026 at 17:00pm. 

Any entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid, but you may still be charged.  

We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule.  

Please note that the Competition Entry Period as specified in these Competition terms and conditions are final and are not impacted by the time of broadcast of announcements advertising how to enter the Competition, which may in some circumstances be delayed.  

ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS  

After the start of the Competition, the prize amount (the “Prize”) will be announced on air. The Prize will be the cash amount that entrants are trying to win.   

We reserve the right to announce the Prize at any time during the Competition. We may also advertise the Prize on any websites and social media channels associated with our stations, via SMS marketing messages and via any other medium, including our third party advertising partners.   

After the Competition has closed, one entrant from all of the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).    

If an Entrant fails to answer their phone within 30 seconds, refuses to play, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during the call and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the Entrant, they will forfeit their chance to win and another Entrant will be selected at random. The decision of the Production team is final and no correspondence will be entered into.    

The entrant who is randomly selected will win the Prize on offer.   

The entrant selected may be required to talk to the presenter / programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach of these terms and conditions).  

ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY, ENTRY LIMITS, AND COSTS  

Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition and Entrants must have permission from the bill payer before entering. Bauer Media is not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, which may delay or prevent their participation.  

SMS 

Entrants can enter between the SMS Entry Start Date and the SMS Entry End Date using the following methods. 

Entrants can send up to 12 SMS messages across the Competition in total starting with WIN to 61054, 63103, 64100, 65115 or 81215; CASH to 61054, 63103 or 64100; YES to 61025, 63103 or 61054; PLAY to 63103 or 65115; ROCK to 64100; or ENTER to 61054 or 63103. A single SMS entry costs £2.50 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message.    

Entrants can send up to 4 SMS messages across the Competition in total starting with AMP to 64100 or 63103; GRAB to 61054 or 63103; MEGA to 65115, 81215, 64100, 63103, 61054 or 61025; PLUS to 63103, 61054, 64100 or 65115; or OFFER to 61054 or 63103. Entrants will receive at least 2 entries to the Competition for the cost of 1 SMS message. SMS messages starting with AMP, GRAB, MEGA, PLUS or OFFER cost £5.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response from 82205 to confirm their entry.   

Entrants can send up to 4 SMS messages across the Competition in total starting with BANK to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215 or 82210; MAX to 63103 or 61054; MORE to 63103 or 64100; EXTRA to 64100, 63103, 61054 or 65115; or DEAL to 61054 or 63103. Entrants will receive at least 4 entries for the cost of 1 SMS message. SMS messages starting with BANK, EXTRA, MAX, MORE or DEAL cost £10.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response from 82210 to confirm their entry.   

If the SMS message does not start with a valid keyword, or is not sent to a valid number, it will not be entered. SMS entries to the Competition may be charged outside of any inclusive message bundles. The delivery of this message may be delayed at peak times.   

We reserve the right to run bonus SMS entry incentives throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the automated SMS response received to confirm the entry. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limit may change. 

ONLINE  

Entrants can enter the Competition a maximum of 250 times via the Website.  

A single online entry costs £2.50. The use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider.  

We reserve the right to run entry incentives Online throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the Website. Where we operate an incentive, the Online entry limit may change.  

PHONE   

Entrants can enter between the Phone Entry Start Date and the Phone Entry End Date up to 250 times in total to 03434 156 317, 03434 171 820, 03434 180 109, 03434 195 096, 03434 212 413, 03434 236 852, 03434 269 340, 03434 282 017, 03723 413 840, 03723 589 829, 03723 614 529, 03723 691 705, 0333 131 0160, 03723 807 931, 03434 120 513, 03434 120 913, or 03434 121 445. 

Calls (from the UK) are charged at standard network rate. These calls may be charged outside of any inclusive call bundles. We reserve the right to run entry incentives via SMS or Online throughout the duration of the Competition. Where we operate an incentive, the Phone entry limit may change.  

POST  

Postal entries must be received between the Postal Entry Start Date and the Postal Entry End Date.  

Entrants can enter the Competition by sending their name and mobile telephone number to BONUS BR1704, PO Box 8162, Derby, DE1 9GU. Entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be valid or accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the Competition.  Entries that include a landline telephone number instead of a mobile number will be invalid and not accepted.

RCS (Rich Communication Services)
We may invite Entrants to enter via RCS.
Entrants can enter the Competition a maximum of 25 times via RCS. 
A single RCS entry costs £2.50. The use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider.  

ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS  

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man), (ii) are not a Bauer employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and (iii) are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner).  

Entrants must enter using a valid UK mobile number.  

All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else.  If we later become aware that the person who played the competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved.  

ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT  

Entrants who are randomly selected will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. This may be live on air or off-air. Due to programming schedules, this may not be broadcast on all participating radio stations.  

All callers are randomly selected in the same way and any off-air recording will only ever take place after the entries have closed. The name, hometown, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s Website and / or social media platforms and associated Bauer publications.  

By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their name and location announced on-air.  

Only one prize can be won throughout the duration of this Competition. Clause 4.12 ("Prize Limits") of the Bauer Media Group Competition General Terms & Conditions shall not apply to the Competition. To be explicit, if you win this competition, you will still be able to enter Make Me A Winner or other competitions on makemeawinner.co.uk moving forwards. 

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS  

The Prize will be a cash amount that will be delivered to a winner paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque.  

Delivery or payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and / or proof of address and to internal compliance checks within 14 days of being contacted.  

If we are unable to contact a winner to award a prize within 14 days of the Draw date, or if the winner is unable to provide us with personal identification and / or proof of address within 14 days of being contacted, the winner forfeits entirely their right to the prize, and we reserve the right to award this to an alternative winner where possible.  

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Payment of the Prize may take up to 28 days from the point at which the Promoter receives the correct details.  

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.  

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION   

By entering the Competition, entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from the Promoter via SMS text message. Entrants can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215, or 65115. This will be charged at 1 standard network rate message. If entrants do not wish to receive any marketing communications, they will need to do this after each time they re-enter the Competition. Entrants’ personal data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT  

We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. They have the right to refuse. If they consent, their voice will be recorded and they consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. Entrants agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion.  

Entrants will not be put through to speak on-air if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Promoter, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the prize, this will be forfeited.  

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS  

We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions, and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. If the disqualification occurs after a winner has been announced, one further entrant from all the valid entries of that Entry Period will be selected by automated random draw and awarded the Prize.  

All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
